Two months in, and the seminar "Sustainable Information Systems and Digital Energy Markets" has reached its mid-term milestone. Our participants presented their current research, and the progress since the kickoff was clearly visible.
The topics could hardly be more different: Digital Government, Open Source, and Energy Markets. But that variety turned out to be a strength rather than a challenge. Because everyone came at the subject from a different angle, the discussion was genuinely lively, and participants were able to give each other useful input across projects.
What started as rough ideas at the kickoff has turned into real, substantive research on questions that are very much relevant today. Watching those different threads connect in one shared discussion was one of the highlights of the session.
Final presentations are coming up at the end of the semester, and we are looking forward to seeing where the work goes from here.
